Actually, I have provided examples in the past to illustrate such a more "general database". The experimental db that I have been developing accomplishes this to a great degree. To verify the degree, I propose the following experiment. Let someone specify 100 computer systems, each being quite different than the prior. The specifics of each consecutive system is to be disclosed only after the prior one has been stored/modelled. This process should assist in identifying the more "general database". I have already posted the first 10 systems and their representation with the experimental db in the thread titled "Modelling Disparate Computer Systems". Would someone be willing to participate using an alternate tool/methodology? Received on Tue May 10 2005 - 21:16:27 CEST
