     Because he has more to work with and is less likely to be confused.

     When I tutor, the toughest part is at the beginning. I can not help the student understand until I handle the misunderstandings. After that, it is fairly easy.

     Or pretend to. I sometimes lecture to myself. I am a very attentive student. <S>
