Not all databases are normalised. If you look at something like data warehousing, it's pretty common to denormalise (so ive read.)

Also normalisation adds the ability to relate data in a more efficient manner, otherwise you may as well use a spreadsheet. Received on Thu Nov 14 2002 - 23:55:46 CET
