hi,

i have a question concerning candidate key and super key. For example ,

if i have a office relation of lecturer, subject and telephone. A lecturer can have 1 or more telephones and a subject may be shared between two or more lecturers. Each telephone may be used by more than one lecturer. Lecturer, telephone and subject names are unique.

My arguement is that (lecturer, subject) and (lecturer, telephone) are the candid keys while (lecturer, subject, telephone) is the super key. Is this arguement, correct? Thanks. Received on Sat Mar 04 2000 - 00:00:00 CET
