Many companies require that employees pay for things and then ask for reimbursement. It is the best way to ensure that the company is not paying for duplicate pagers, something that pager companies have a habit of doing.

As to not paying for being on call, if you don't like it, you can quit your job. They have the right to change your pay at any time, and you the right to quit at any time (unless you have a contract of some sort). Works both ways. Received on Thu Apr 15 2004 - 16:02:34 CEST
