Hi,
I would like to thank you first again for the replies.
Actually to clear some things out, I have an application called
Moody's Financial Analyst
which sits on Oracle (the server mentioned previously). This
applications of course needs the oracle client
to communicate with the server. When I connect to the machine (the
client) with administrative priviledges the applications runs fine.
When I connect on the machine as a power user, I have the degretation
in performance mentioned previously. I took a snapshot of what is
being done (sqls etc) when the application connects. I took those
queries and connected directly to the oracle and they run ok with
either user.
So it comes down to the applications.
I suppose I need to contact the provider of the applications to see
what is going on.
Thanks again for the reply! :)
