Connect to DB

Hi,

I installed Oracle 8i Server.
If I use it as client I can connect to others DB on others computers. I also can connect to my new installed DB as user SYSTEM from another computer. But I CAN NOT CONNECT TO MY DB FROM MY COMPUTER !!!! I get such error :
Attempting to connect using userid: system The test did not succeed.
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

There may be an error in the fields entered, or the server may not be ready for a connection. Do you have any idea why it can happend? Thanks. Received on Mon Oct 14 2002 - 04:43:26 CEST
