Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has run into problems when trying to create a custom database using dbca with Oracle9i (9.0.1) and Red Hat 7.2. I've gone through all the readmes and have successfully installed Oracle. I can create a general purpose database, connect to it etc. And everything is great. But if I try to create a custom database, it always fails when installing the JVM in the DB (ORA-29515).
I've got a Red Hat 7.2 machine, 1GB RAM, 2GB swap space, 18GB (RAID 1) HDD, Blackdown 1.1.8 and I have also tried Sun JDK 1.3.1_02.
(Please reply to the newsgroup)
Thanks,
