Aloha ppl,
Here is my problem. I upgraded WinNT to Win2K Professional. Everything went great, until I tried to connect to my old DB's that were on a seperate partition.
I reinstalled Oracle. All listeners are started and running, and are seen by the assistant, but when I try to connect, I cannot. I checked my services and saw that the main Oracle services for the actual Databases are not even in the services list.
Also, all necessary system and control files are intact.
Is there anyway I can get Oracle to see and connect to my old
databases?
How can I get those main services started?
When I run DB Assistant I only get the option to create a new database and the other options are greyed out.
Mahalo for any help I can get. Received on Wed Apr 10 2002 - 01:16:22 CEST
