Re: Urgent: TZ problem

Thanks MS. Re-starting the Listener process did the trick. I checked out the new_time function as well. The external function that we are calling is to get the local time zone. Then we are using the time zone as a parameter to the new_time function to convert. Is there a function in Oracle that gives the local time zone?
