the GUI tool is Oracle trace manager which comes with oracle diagnostics pack if u want to enable the trace for a particular session then u can set it at the SQL Prompt by the following command

Set AUTO TRACE ON Received on Mon Dec 17 2001 - 17:15:49 CET
