Try this recreate your services
First the Services in the Control Panel
then
Dos prompt: oradim80 -DELETE -sid INS1

After delete re-check to insure that the services are going

Dos prompt: oradim80 -NEW-sid MYSID -startmode=automatic -intpwd=MYPASSWORD
> -pfile=MYPATH:\databases\initINS1.ora

Now check again and you should see that your new service is created Now startup
 OracleServiceMysid this would have start already  OracleStartMysid you set this to start automatic

You may reboot now or wait for an approiate time to test this procedure

To have a default instance go to the registry and set the Oracle_sid=MYSID Reboot your machine that should fix your problem
