Need help connecting Oracle8 with Form Builder

I have been trying unsuccessfully to connect Forms Builder to Personal Oracle 8 in my stand-alone PC. (30-day trial CD from Oracle). Perhaps the problem could be with the Listener which does not seem to recognise hostname which I had assigned to my PC when first installing Win95.
