How to show progress of stored procedure executing ?

Hi !

I'm working on project in Oracle and have following problem: From Oracle Forms i call some complicated stored procedure. It executes slowly and very long. But i want to see how mutch is already done in any moment of time....For example i would like to see message:

"342 of 3845 record processed"

How can i do this?
Maybe You can give me some advice?
