triggers are code that fire when operation happen on the table (insert,update,delete). Once they fire it executes pl/sql code. if something in that code says the data is wrong it generates an exception and kicks out the database operations.
constraints are validations enforced by the database. these are typically primary keys, foreign keys or specific values for a column.
you cannot change these from the outside and unless you can admin the database you are out of luck.
check with the designer what the constraints are and the rules of the triggers and either get them to change them or live with it.
