Changing a HOST name on Alpha

Greetings.

This weekend we're migrating from an Alpha 4000/610 to a new Alpha 4100 Server. I want to make the migration as painless as possible for the users, so I decided to swap the IP address and HOST names between the two.

The IP is easy, but i'm concerned about changing the HOST name. Is it bound in anything other than .com files? If so, do I need to worry about anything like this?
