You don't need to insult people...But if some one was helpful they could send
an example of a control file dumped to trace. and let joe try and find all the
pieces
startup nomount
CREATE CONTROLFILE REUSE set DATABASE "XXXX" RESETLOGS NOARCHIVELOG
MAXLOGFILES 32
MAXLOGMEMBERS 2
MAXDATAFILES 30
MAXINSTANCES 8
MAXLOGHISTORY 800
LOGFILE
GROUP 1 '/usr01/home/oracle/dbs/log1.dbf' SIZE 10M, GROUP 2 '/usr20//redo/log2.dbf' SIZE 10M, GROUP 3 '/usr21//redo/log3.dbf' SIZE 10MDATAFILE
'/usr21/dbf/syst.dbf', '/usr21/dbf/rbs.dbf', '/usr20/dbf/temp1.dbf', '/usr20/dbf/tool.dbf', '/usr20/dbf/usrcrft.dbf', '/usr20/dbf/ts_fnd_use1.dbf', '/usr20/dbf/ts_fnd_use2.dbf', '/usr21/dbf/its_fnd_use1.dbf', '/usr21/dbf/its_fnd_use2.dbf',
;
ALTER DATABASE OPEN resetlogs;
