Just in case you missed me mentioning it, there's a UK WWW site for Oracle problems:

http://www.oracle.co.uk/

It's termed the "Oracle Customer Information System" (OCIS for short) and, wait for it, is entirely password protected. Only UK Oracle customers can apply for a username/password (phone the response centre on 01344 860160) - I finally got mine today via snail mail (yep, they don't phone, fax or e-mail it to you).

It actually has a LOT of very useful technical info on bugs, patches, config files etc. for Oracle and you wonder why it isn't open to all a la places like HP's SupportLine (http://support.mayfield.hp.com/), since it's no use to anyone without the Oracle software.

I've been told by Oracle UK that there's technical goodies on there that even Oracle US doesn't have...
