I'm still trying to learn Oracle, and the following have been helpful:

  1. Oracle, A Beginner's Guide by Abbey and Corey
  2. Oracle, Developer/2000 Handbook by R. Muller (includes a CD which has PO7, Developer/2000, Discoverer/2000, SQL*Plus, SQL*Net, and more)
  3. This newsgroup, of course!

I'm not quite sure how to make the transition from reading and learning from the books, to getting a job dealing directly with Oracle... Anyone have some tips?

Jeff
