Evironment Details:
Sun 1000e Host, Sun SSA102 Array, 10Gig Database, 120 Concurrent users, RAID5,
Veritas VM, Solaris 2.4, Oracle 7.
With Prestoserve write cache ON - average write times are 200ms. Prestoserve write cache OFF - write times down to 60ms.
Fast-writes are OFF in the array (for possible stability reasons, not performance related).
Stats gathered over 2 weeks with very similar loads.
