Startup/shutdown scripts for Oracle AIX?

We're looking for startup/shutdown scripts (we're using Oracle 7.3.2
parallel server and AIX 4.1.4) to bring up Oracle after machine crash. We
want to be sure that Oracle came up cleanly ( may be to start up in
restrict mode, shut it down, bring it up again and check for return code?
). Does anybody out there has any script that performs all those
functions?
Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.
