I've just put Oracle 7.3 on a Solaris 2.5.1 system. I have documents on
how to create new databases under older versions of Oracle using the
sqldba tool, but since 7.3 replaced this, I am at a loss.
The procedure given works fine using the svrmgr in place of sqldba, but
the last step is to (from within sqldba) "run catalog.sql". svrmgr does
not understand the command "run". Is this step still necessary? Should
I run from sqlplus when logged in as the admin?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
