you can call it anything you like (defined in your listener.ora file), and indeed you can
have more than one listener, but if you only have one you do not need to give it a name
because it defaults to "listener"
(and you may find that other files will have to be modified too)
P.S. be careful when manually editing *.ora files as the punctuation and indentation are important !
