Hi,
My company is playing with the idea of building a data warehouse. A quick scan learned us that the size of this data warehouse will be close to 500 Gb within this year (ultimo 1996). Next year, we expect it to gra towards the double of that.
Is there anyone that is using Oracle for a data warehouse solution on an IBM AIX platform and what kind of configurations are they using (SMP,MPP, single processor)?
Even if there is anyone using Oracle for MVS to accomplish this, it would be of great help to give some tips about issues like what kinfd of mainframe will be needed.
