We use the same technique here, and have narry a problem. Forms running on Windows at all is a bitch at times, until you iron out the GPF producing bugs.
I had a nice thick file of messages on how to attack this, which I of course now cant find to forward to you. 1 suggestion is to obtain (from Oracle?) a program called (from memory) FIX1MEG.
This makes a difference to upper and lower memory and can help - hope you get it working.
