My recommendation would depend on the expertise of your users and the security needed. Crystal Reports Professional (www.crystalinc.com) is a good devlopers tool for creating distributable reports and, in the hands of a 'power' user, it a robust end user tool. However, it has minimal security & protective features. Cognos Impromptu is an ideal end user tool that provides excellent security and helpful administration features in an environment of less knowledgable users. Michael B. Openshaw
