I know that database recovery can be a real nightmare, but I couldn't help laughing. Is this a new trend of DBA jokes? Borrowing someone's datafile, editing it, startup abort. Wow, if only they were possible!! Or are you one of the developers behind the Oracle server and knows how to perform these tricks? I agree. Please explain.
