Make sure you have the tnsname.ora and sqlnet.ora file on your client PC as well as the SQL*Net software installed(which includes the correct protocol adapter software depending if you are running TCP/IP or IPX/SPX). I am not a networking person, I was just able to get it going at work and it really was a pain. Received on Fri Mar 29 1996 - 00:00:00 CET
