Thank you for volunteering to be a beta site for Oracle Power Objects on OS/2.
Oracle Power Objects Version 1.0 has made an excellent start in establishing a strong user base of Windows and Macintosh developers. Version 2.0 will expand on that base by offering native versions of the product for Windows95, WindowsNT and PowerMacintosh. In addition, all V2.0 products need to add new features without compromising product quality; focusing on the Windows and Macintosh platforms for OPO V2.0 will allow Oracle to do this. As such, Oracle has decided not to port Oracle Power Objects to the OS/2 platform. We are disappointed to be losing a partner of IBM's stature, however at this critical stage of product development we feel this is a necessary decision.
We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Regards
Dhawal
