I completly agree with this. This is your worst problem. Also you won't be able to fine tune the security, the quota, the role and the profile for each of your user. Suppose one user want SQL*PLUS be you don't want that a ressource intensive query bring the database serve to hits knees, you won't be able to control the profile of this user in order to limit the CPU, I/O etc... for one session or one statement. I think one Oracle user for every body is really not a good solution. A long time ago I was at a site where the used only one Oracle account and I wouldn't do that again.
