I am finding it extremely difficult to navigate the help text and manuals to determine the method required to link OCIW32.LIB supplied with Personal Oracle 7 for Windows 95 into an application of mine developed and built under Borland C++ 4.52 (Win 95 upgrade). The following message is generated:

Linking gsmfraud.exe:
Linker Fatal: Bad object file 'd:\oracle\oci72\lib\ociw32.lib' near file offset 0

I am attempting to create a very simple application to demonstrate that a connection may be made to Personal Oracle 7. The API's are said to be in this library.

Any suggestions would be welcome to either this newsgroup or
