If you want to access Oracle Server via OLE Automation (Visual Basic for Application, VBA), you can do direct Oracle Call Interface with no need of an ODBC layer, check http://www.sfi-software.com for SQL-Sombrero/OCX for OCI (Oracle Call Interace) free evaluation copy. All product documentation avaiable on-line!
