SQLGlue for Oracle

MPower has a Windows Oracle toolkit called SQLGlue. Scheduled for release the end of February 1996, SQLGlue simplifies development of Oracle client server applications for Windows 3.x, Win95, and NT 3.51 using SQL*Net to connect to any Oracle Server.

When released SQLGlue will be made available, via download, in the following forms:

• Shareware version $0
• Registered version $35 (no Shareware prompts).
• Professional version $99 (technical support provided).
• Corporate version $2499 (C source code provided).

MPower has been using SQLGlue with Visual Basic, C/C++, Excel, and Word since 1992 to build robust document-imaging client server applications for Fortune 500 companies and the Federal Government.

SQLGlue Features and Capabilities:

• Windows toolkit for building robust Oracle applications.

• Word 6.0 document; executes a query and inserts results into document.
• Visual Basic 3.0 MDI SQL command line application.
• Visual C++ 4.0 application similar to the MDI VB application.
• Visual Basic 3.0 application that executes SQL statements from ANY Windows application that can COPY and PASTE text using the Windows clipboard.
• Visual Basic 3.0 form application which creates a table and demonstrates: query, insert, update, delete, and drops the created sample table.
