Wonder if anyone may have come across a problem we're having. We're running a multithreaded process under OS/2 which interacts with Oracle 7 through PRO*C.

What we've seen is the thread doing an sqlcex call getting blocked, apparently waiting for a signal to come back from the database manager, about 13 levels deep in call stack. We're running in the Visual C/Set compiler, and the debugger shows the thread accessing Oracle blocked.

This is an intermittent problem which happens in several different SQL statements after handling many similar statements without any problem

Any ideas? Thanks.
