Daniel,
Try dumping table ALL_VIEWS. This should show all views to which you
have access.
DBA_VIEWS might be more useful.
Consider buying the SQL Language Quick Reference - Part No 5421-70-1292
This is a really useful little book which includes syntax for
commands and a list of all the DBA tables, as well as the dynamic
performance table names, and a description of each
