Actually, I had heard the opposite - that Oracle was demanding concessions that IOUG felt would detract from an impartial stance as a users' group, and refused. Thus Oracle took their ball and went home.

Oracle can be a bunch of bullies - for example, they have been known to pressure users' groups to change their newsletters. Personally, I'd love to hear from each side in this forum. How about it, KJ :-) .
