DISCLOSURE: I do not work for Asymetrix. However, I am certified an Asymetrix certified data modeler and have taught many ORM classes. However, I like the method and product because it works.

You might want to check with Asymetrix (800)448-6543. Asymetrix makes a tool called Infomodeler, which is based on a very powerful conceptual design method called Object Role Modeling (ORM).
I have found ORM to be a really wonderful way to model data. I use it in my consulting practice all the time.
