I have a system that is a little short of physical disks. The system has 4 drives, one drive has the OS and swap files on it, one drive has Oracle executables loaded on it, the other 2 drives will be use for data. I have 3 large tables that I would like to stripe over at least 2 drives, but I would still like to keep the indexes on a seperate drive. Can I use the drive that contains the Oracle executables without causing too much disk contention between data and executables.

Additional info: These tables will be accessed via indexed fields and also some full table scans of unindexed fields.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Mike
