Hi Folks,
What do you need to do to reset the default escape character (currently aphostaphe) to something else so that oracle will accept the aphostaphe as part of the string. I would like to be able to insert/update some tables with values such as "o'clock" and "ol'boy". Currently, it takes the aphostaphe, which is part of the string I want to insert, as the closing/ending quote for the strings.
Also, can you reset this escape character by embedding it within Proc*C.
Any help is appreciated.
