API-calls for Customers and Vendors in Oracle Financials

Hi,

I'm working on API-calls for an ON-LINE interface between an application that holds all relations (Vendors, Customers, Employees etc.) and Oracle Financials. The fact that it has to be an on-line interface rules out the usage of the open interface tables of O.F. Furthermore, for the PO-Vendors, there aren't any open interface tables.

I want my API-calls to balance names, addresses etc. between the Relations application (R.P.S.) and O.F. at all times. If a user enters data in R.P.S. that interferes with the data in O.F., the entire transaction should immediately fail. For this purpose, my API-calls will be implemented as data base triggers on R.P.S. and O.F. will only DISPLAY the data that is 'owned' by R.P.S.

My question is if someone has allready implemented such API-calls and is willing to supply some usefull tips and tactics or is interested in my progress.

P.S. Oracle Technical Support is helping me but I can use all the help I can get.
