The connect string to Personal Oracle 7 (win 3.1 or Win '95) is 2: From the documentation I've read (a good book called "Essential Oracle 7", Tom Luers, SAMS Publishing), the 2: apparently represents the 2 process driver used to fake-out (er... connect) SQL Plus and SQL Net to the local DB.
