I also have a question on using trace and tkprof.



I attempted to get the execution of an Oracle query by :



    
  
  1.   ALTER SESSION SET SQL_TRACE = TRUE;

  
  2.   run my query;
  
  3.   quit;






This gave me the trace file and then I use tkprof on it. 



But I always got 0 execution time for my query even though it takes almost
an minute to complete.



Could I receive some illumination on this :-)
