chris,
there is a script which was created some time ago called impl2sql. this script will product a sql script similair in format from executing an imp indexfile=...
but doesn't 'REM' out the create table and other associated schema dml statements.

if you execute this script against a full export it will provide you with a script to rebuild an entire database assuming that you have a system tablespace built at least.

would be happy to send it to you, but you can also find it and lots of other goodies on ftp.bf.rmit.edu.ad/pub/Oracle which is maintained by David Bath at RMIT located in Melbourne, Australia.
