This is an example of where code generation is a great technique, but only if the user has complete control over the code that is actually generated. I am working on a project which provides exactly that.. it actually works.. it is a Windows implementation of UNIX tools and techniques that I have been developing over the years. Always the lesson is the same .. you need to be able to dictate exactly what it is that is to be generated.
Prototypes to date feature code generation for VB and for Gupta SQLWindows. Please let me know if this project interest you. Frank Carnovale
