Oracle players:

Does anyone have any first hand good/bad stories about running mid-size (1-3 gig) Oracle instances on high-end (120-133MHz) PC-class machines? Any information you could give on number of users, volume of transactions, and perceived response time would be appreciated and posted in a follow-up.

If you have some experiences to contribute, please be sure to include operating system (Solaris X86, SCO, and NT in particular). We are currently running Sun630 MPs and are looking for a point of reference.
