ORACLE MEDIA OBJECTS

Hello guys,
has anyone already made experiences with the new ORACLE MEDIA OBJECTS ? The most interest I have here is about the windows player. Is there any possibility to expand its functionality by using DLLs, for example to make connections to an ORACLE database ?
