Hi,
From the Oracle view sys.dba_free_space you can get information about non used space in a tablespace. Sometimes there are contiguous unused blocks. For instance:
block_id length
10 12 22 8 50 10 60 10 99 ...
With a PL/SQL program I can find the directly connected free extent and add them to a "real" free extent. For instance:
block_id length
10 20 50 20 99 ...
My Question is: How can I get this information using a view and not a PL/ SQL program (in Oracle V6.034). Do you know a solution?
Thanks
:-)
