Q: Communication with Oracle Forms Motif

Hi,

I am starting to work with Oracle Forms for UNIX (Motif). My background is X/Motif programming.
We have installed CDE 1 for SunOS 4.1.3 (Forms 4.0)

My principal question: is there any way to communicate with Oracle Forms Motif application by sending some message?

I would like my Oracle application to respond to event/message sent by another process, and not user action. What is the most appropriate mechanism for such an implementation ( X client message, RPC, ... ? )

Is there any communication mechanism in MS-Windows Oracle Forms?
