First of all , do you have support for cyrillic installed ? The Oracle I have here has something like SU***RU coding tables , which possibly stand for ( former) Soviet Union - Russian Language . Next , there are a few coding tables for Cyrillic in Russia : so called KOI-8 ( Unix platform ) and ALT ( MSDOS PCs ).
