Not necessarily. What about OS/2? I have never had a problem with Oracle Server V.7x that was related to OS/2. This database runs 7X24. No problems. Not cheap, but reasonable for the product.
Is OS/2 stable? IMO Stable as a rock. My network also runs under OS/2 and LAN Server and has never been down due to OS/2 (or the LAN Server). Again, this network runs 7X24. No problems.

Workgroup 2000 is not a Windows 3.x program. Workgroup 2000 is a full blown Oracle Server version that is designed for workgroups and runs under Windows NT and OS/2 operations systems. CDE2 tools are a separate product. See Oracle's Home page http:\\oracle.www.com for more information.

I agree.
